Planning a party can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be! At Tempest on Tithebarn, we take the hassle out of hosting, allowing you to focus on the fun.

OUR SPACES


KOL BOX

In the basement of the building, we have the subterranean concrete bunker that is the Kol Box hosting DJ sessions, club nights and live music. The Kol Box holds up to 100 people arrangements. A flexible space, that can also host all types of parties, exhibitions, screenings and craft markets.

MAIN BAR

Tempest's main bar is a light-filled haven perfect for all occasions, including welcome receptions, corporate events, and get-togethers. Its lush greenery and welcoming atmosphere create the ideal setting for relaxed dining, lively drinks with friends, or even a productive business lunch. Our spacious bar area is the perfect venue to hire for your next event.

LIBRARY

To the rear of the main bar, the Library is a lovely area that holds approx 30 people, perfect for those smaller gatherings. The Library can be separated by a privacy curtain from the Main Bar or can be kept open to take the atmosphere from the main space. A further seated area can be included to increase numbers closer to 50 people.

ATRIUM

Our versatile atrium space, located just off the main bar, is perfect for a variety of events, from intimate networking sessions to corporate lunches. This flexible area can be used independently or in conjunction with our other spaces, creating a more free-flowing atmosphere for your event.

Enjoy a variety of seating styles and take advantage of additional meeting rooms on the lower ground floor. Whether you're hosting a small gathering or a large-scale celebration, our ground floor space offers the perfect setting for your next event.

ROOF TERRACE

The Tempest's rooftop is a hidden gem offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Enjoy the fresh air, stunning vistas, and a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for summer socials, weddings, or simply unwinding after a long day. Our rooftop terrace is the ideal destination for creating unforgettable memories.

The Roof Terrace is served by the Tempest Spritz and Slush bar.

  • Of course! We always reserve the space an hour before in case you would like to decorate. You can also drop off any items the morning of as long as they are in a labelled box. 

  • All decorations apart from glitter and confetti are allowed, which includes glitter and confetti filled balloons. We do ask that all decorations be taken down at the end of your booking and either taken with you on the night or collected the next day. We also ask that you please not use any cellotape or blue tac and all decorations placed on the rooftop terrace must be weighted or tied down.

  • I am afraid that we do not allow any external catering just as we have a private hire menu of our own. We will try our best to accommodate all requests though.

  • We do allow one celebration cake per booking as long as allergen information is passed over to the venue beforehand. We can also store a cake for you in our fridge as long as it is the same day as your booking and the cake is in a labelled and sealed box. 

  • Children/ under 18s are more than welcome at private hire parties as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times and not in the venue after 21:00.

  • Music via a Spotify playlist is allowed in all of our private hire spaces and DJs/ live bands are allowed in our Kolbox and main bar space. When hiring any entertainment, we do recommend that they bring their own equipment just in case they are not compatible with our own. 

  • The venue closes at midnight on a Friday and Saturday with last orders at 23:30. In some spaces, the licence can be extended for an additional fee. 


  • We celebrate all birthday parties including 18ths as long as the party is family orientated and no under 18s are in the venue after 21:00.
